Later holdings
Material added to the holdings after the original 1981 deposit. Unlike the catalogue, this section is not closed.
The two recordings reached the town hall on their own, and both belong to the two groups for which there is no paperwork. Everything else is from 2026 and was made out of the photographs: the sound, the voices, the audience and every angle that is not the photograph's own are constructed. None of those pieces is 1981 material.

Tape with no sender
Left at the town hall with no note and no sender. It is not part of the original holdings: it is the only known recording of a group of which the archive keeps not one face. The tape cuts off at forty-two seconds and does not continue on the other side.

Plaza Gorria — Plaza gorria
Fifteen seconds assembled from a single photograph in the holdings. The room, the audience and every angle that is not the photograph's own are constructed. This is not 1981 material: it is what can be made today out of what was left.

Neska Zikinak — Dantzan
Fifteen seconds assembled from three photographs in the holdings, the only three in which the band appears with instruments. The street is the one in the photograph; the people who stop to watch are not. Nobody built this band a stage.

Errepide Hila — Errepide hila
Fifteen seconds assembled from four photographs in the holdings. The piece ends the way their record ends: they turn round and walk off down the street, and the place they leave stays empty.

Txaranga Beltza — Airean gaude
Fifteen seconds from four photographs in the holdings. It ends on the road into the village, with the mountain behind: the photograph that says where all of this happened.

Beste Aldea — Ez gara hemengoak
Fifteen seconds assembled from four photographs in the holdings. There is no mouth anywhere in the piece: the welding masks are never lifted, and the voice that says the two lines goes through a vocoder. The movements keep a fixed rate, as if a machine were setting it.

Simaurra — Trikitixa eta zarata
Fifteen seconds assembled from five photographs in the holdings. It begins the way they began, with the trikitixa alone, and the guitars come in over it at two seconds. The photograph outside the bar appears twice and the sign still cannot be read.

Frontoi Hutsa — Bat, bi, hiru, lau
Fifteen seconds assembled from four photographs in the holdings. It is the only piece without music: nothing is on record about this group's repertoire, so there is nothing to reconstruct. You hear the yard, the amplifier plugged in, and a voice counting four numbers. After the count, nothing begins.

Hautsak — Kea besterik ez
Fifteen seconds from a single photograph in the holdings, unedited. They walk out of frame one by one and each place is left empty; for the last three and a half seconds there is nobody in it and the recording goes on playing just as loud. It is the last piece in the later holdings.

Recording with no provenance
There is no record of how it reached the archive, nor of who recorded it, nor of when it was added. It carries no label and no sleeve. It is, together with the Beste Aldea tape, one of the only two recordings in the holdings: both belong to the two groups for which the town hall has no paperwork.

Beste Aldea — The tape
Forty-one seconds cut from twelve photographs in the holdings, over the unaddressed tape of LGB-ANX/001. It lasts exactly as long as the tape does and it ends where the tape ends: mid-bar, with no fade. Only three of the twelve are of the band; the rest are the audience and the street, people who happened to be there and to whom nothing was ever attributed. This is not 1981 material.

Beste Aldea — Inor ez da jaisten
A hundred seconds: the whole song, of which the tape in the later holdings preserved only the first forty-two. Reconstructed from twenty-seven photographs. In the first half nobody comes down to the ground; in the second, what fails is no longer the people but the one looking, and the piece carries out one by one the notes the photographer wrote on the back: the counter reading 38 of 36, the photograph he does not remember taking, the flash he ran out of, the hour he stops writing down. Colour leaks in twice before it takes everything. This is not 1981 material.
